How Can nausea Along With Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

I have had multiple abdominal surgeries 10-13 years ago related to over secretion of acid. For the past year or two, every time I eat I develop bloating, abdominal pain, tachycardia, nausea, and sometimes gas. No diarrhea or constipation. Because of this, I can only eat at night when I can lay down immediately after eating. No weight loss or gain. What could this be?

Hi,

Stomach pain is common and we generally recommended some acid suppression drugs. However, if your problems are for 2 years, and you have a history of multiple surgeries on your tummy then it's important to see a gastroenterologist. It may be related to surgery (short bowel syndrome or bacterial overgrowth or still high acids).

So it's important to seek medical advice for proper assessment and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
